Otaki Model Toy MFG Co., Ltd. (有限会社大滝製作所 Yugen Gaisha Otaki Seisakusho (- 1975), 株式会社オオタキ Kabushiki Ggaisha Otaki (1975 - 1986)) was a Japanese model manufacturer based in Tokyo. It produced various kinds of plastic models.
History[]
Otaki was founded in the early 1950s. It started to produce plastic model kits in 1960.
Otaki produced plastic model kits of a variety of vehicles, including model aircraft, cars, ships, armored vehicles and locomotives.
Otaki stopped its business in 1986. Many of its metal molds were acquired by Arii.
